KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT THE FUTURE OF COAL CONFERENCE.
His remarks will focus on energy production in the west, explore the wider social, political and economic issues associated with changing market dynamics as well as domestic and international politics.

Bill
Richardson has led a notable career in public service serving as a U.S.
Congressman (1982-1986), U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (1997-1998),
Secretary of Energy under Bill Clinton (1988-2000), and 30th
Governor of New Mexico (2003-2011). After retiring from public service
Richardson has authored three books, started two foundations: The Richardson
Center for Global Engagement and the Foundation to Preserve New Mexico Wildlife.
He also sits on several nonprofit boards including the World Resources
Institute (WRI) and the National Council for Science and the Environment
(NCSE). In addition he sits on numerous for-profit boards, mostly in the
renewable energy space.
